Subscribers
You can now subscribe to the site. We hope to build an income stream from subscription to this site, then can reward poets with a percentage – for hits they get. Seems reasonable enough.
There are two subscription types:
Monthly
US$1 per month, with first month FREE
Annual
US$5 per annum
Charged by Paypal as a subscription to your credit card, as a recurring charge by Starfish Software (sfsw.net) and Auckland Poetry.com or related sites. Subscription does not entitle you to anything but you may receive links to material not on the public site,
The intention is to try and make money from our art, like a busker whom you may walk by occassionally. If you like what you see, and have subscribed then you know when you read your favourite poet by clicking on the heading of their poems – they get a page view and a royalty.
Royalties will be paid annually by splitting a portion of the income between registered users who get Individual Browser views over 1000/month – to be adjusted from time to time.
It does not matter how many poems you contribute to the site, it may be that a single poem attracts the most viewers. Remember it is the number of people in your audience that counts, not “hits”.
Search engine promotion is available that may increase your hit rate. This is a professional service available to help promote a poem
