Auckland Poetry is a continuous web publication that welcomes new contributors to register and submit work for consideration. Every so often an Edition is selected from the stream and preserved on the Current Edition page – and published to the site home page.
The site is published by Nicholas Alexander who used to live in Auckland, but is currently in Europe. He still edits this site, but is asking for applications from an Aucklander to assist. If interested, please add your comment to this.

When you join this site, you are a contributor. This enables you to easily submit work for publication. The site is updated
occasionally and publication may take time. When the Editor has considered your submission, he may a) publish it, or b) set it to private. You can resubmit work if you wish.
Guest Author
A chosen contributor may for time to time be set to be a Guest Author. This mean they can post directly to AucklandPoetry.com. No waiting for the editor to review work.

Is the site still operational? I haven’t sent any recent postings, comments or anything else since I first regsitered on the site.
Yes, I have returned to the site. while travelling, living in hotels it became difficult! Am in London now, looking for an Auckland Poet to help keep the site “local”
