Tough Old Man (koro)

Published by Ramon Te Wake at 6:41 pm under Uncategorized

TOUGH OLD MAN (koro)

I would hear you before I would see you

That bold blend of pride and character

As loud as silence

You were a formidable might

Like a Kauri tree

Strong

Thick

Shaped in ways

That summoned

We, were in awe

Of your tireless hands

They worked harder than a colony of ants

Sometimes as brutal as the wind
